  • Why did you change the packaging? Are the products still the same?

    Our science and formulations did not change – these are the same skincare products you know and love, with a new, refreshed look. We recognized an opportunity to stand for something greater, so we updated our packaging and mission to enable self-care and self-love. We hope you enjoy the new look and feel as much as we do! And rest assured, you’ll still be getting the same formulations and can expect the same great skin-transforming results you always have, just with updated packaging you’re going to love putting front and center on your shelf.

  • I’m confused with the new packaging and can’t find my favorite product. I also noticed new product names. Where can I find my favorite product(s)?

    We changed some of our product names to make them more intuitive and benefit-focused, so that the customer experience is easier when shopping for your favorite products. We made a product match tool to assist in this transition, here. Simply select the product you previously purchased and we’ll show you what we’ve changed the name to and if it changed at all. For example, "Vespera Bionic Serum" is now called "Radiance Serum." If a product formulation is no longer available, we will help you select a new favorite.

    Due to demand, we have made the decision to discontinue the products below. We will do our best to help each customer find an alternative product that works for him or her. Please reach out to Customer Service at for assistance in finding alternative solutions, as well as authorized resellers with remaining inventory.

  • Are your ingredients safe?

    All skincare ingredients used by Exuviance® are globally acceptable and used within the limits recommended by our suppliers and international organizations which verify the safety of cosmetic ingredients. All products undergo safety testing as well.

  • What are parabens and why are they in your products?

    Parabens are ingredients known as preservatives that protect products against the growth of bacteria and fungi they may encounter during use. Our bodies quickly change parabens to the natural para-hydroxybenzoic acid and eliminate them. The individual parabens at the levels used by NeoStrata Company, Inc. are globally acceptable.

  • Are your products fragrance-free?

    We have a large selection of products that are fragrance-free. Please reach out to our Customer Service team for questions around specific products. You may also look at individual ingredient disclosures on our website. Products containing fragrance will list the word "fragrance" toward the end of the ingredient list. Please note that some products have a light scent that is not from a fragrance or perfume.

  • Are your products non-comedogenic?

    Our cream and lotion formulations are tested to ensure that they are non-comedogenic/non-acnegenic. Please reach out to our Customer Service team for questions around specific products.

  • Do your products contain Gluten?

    Exuviance® products do not contain gluten. Our products are manufactured at shared facilities and we can’t guarantee a gluten-free environment. If you are very sensitive to gluten, speak with your physician and consider testing a small test spot on your body.

  • I do not see CoverBlend in Ulta, were the products discontinued?

    Since 2001, CoverBlend Makeup has been used to cover port wine stains, birthmarks, tattoos and more. Due to demand and ingredient supply, we have made the decision to discontinue CoverBlend. We understand CoverBlend Makeup has been important to our customers, and this decision was not made lightly. While supplies last, limited quantities of select shades are still available on

Safety / Usage
  • Is it safe to use your products while pregnant and/or nursing?

    There are no known safety concerns with using cosmetic products during pregnancy. However Exuviance® recommends that all pregnant and lactating women, or those currently planning to become pregnant, seek the advice of their physician before using any skincare products. In addition, Exuviance® recommends discontinuing use of products with high strength Retinol, and OTC drugs (acne, skin lightening, psoriasis treatment) during pregnancy and lactation unless advised by a physician.

  • Are your products tested on Animals?

    At Exuviance, we do not test products or ingredients on animals in the creation of our cosmetics or personal care products. Our products are validated as safe and effective without compromising animal welfare.

  • Can I use your products in conjunction with laser/micro-needling/etc.?

    These procedures cause openings in the skin and significantly reduce skin barrier function. Exuviance® products should only be applied to intact skin. Once the skin has healed and is intact, Exuviance® products may be applied, as tolerated.

  • Can I use your products in combination with Retinol? Can I use Prescription strength Retin-A with Exuviance products?

    Cosmetic Retinol products can make skin feel sensitive and dry. Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) can contribute to this feeling of skin sensitivity. We recommend using our gentle Polyhydroxy/Bionic Acid or NeoGlucosamine formulations with Retinol.

    If you are currently applying a prescription medication such as Retin-A, you should ask your physician about using Retin-A in conjunction with other products. Retin-A and other topical medications can make your skin more sensitive and sometimes less predictable when adding new products. Your physician would be best able to advise you for your particular skin.

  • What is the shelf life of your products? Can I use a product after it has expired?

    Products are manufactured to have a 3-year shelf life. Each of our products have a unique lot code. Our Customer Service team can assist with expiration dates based on these lot codes. Our team can be reached by email at or via telephone at 1-800-225-9411. We do not recommend using any products past their substantiated expiration date as wouldn’t be able to verify their safety and efficacy.

  • How long will it take to see results for products?

    Your skin will start to see some surface improvements after just a few weeks of using the products – skin will become softer, smoother, and more radiant. With continued use, after 6 to 8 weeks, your skin will experience longer term skin benefits such as improvements to uneven skin tone, appearance of fine and wrinkles as well as firmness.

  • Where are your products made? Is your packaging recyclable?

    All of our products are made in the United States with the exception of just a few products. The majority of the packaging is recyclable.
